Pickup from our Display Yard at 20 Wallace Ave, Point Cook, is FREE. Please ensure you use a suitable vehicle capable of carrying the weight and length of the packs, and that can be loaded by a forklift. We will not load vehicles deemed unsuitable. B&G Sheds is not responsible for any damage to vehicles on our premises or for any compliance issues with road laws. If you're unsure about your vehicle's suitability, please contact our staff for assistance.
Deliveries are typically made using our B&G Sheds Crane Truck, which has a 9.0 m long tray. The building materials usually consist of one or more shrink-wrapped packs measuring approximately 4.5 x 1.0 x 0.8 m and weighing around 800 kg per pack. Roller doors, windows, and smaller items can be walked to a suitable storage area, but the main packs must remain where unloaded, typically close to the truck.
Upon arrival, the installation contractor will unpack and transport the materials to the shed site (up to 30 m max). Clear access for the truck is essential; if there are obstacles, the driver will position the truck as close as possible to the building site. Customers are encouraged to be on-site to direct the driver, specify preferred material placement, and assist with unloading. If the owner cannot meet the truck, materials will be unloaded within six (6) meters of the vehicle.
Deliveries are generally scheduled for the week following the completion of the concrete floor. We aim to minimize any inconvenience for you and your contractors. Deliveries occur only on weekdays, excluding public holidays, and are typically designated as AM or PM.
Delivery timeframes may change due to unforeseen circumstances. We will inform you promptly if any adjustments occur.
If you cannot collect or accept delivery on time, a storage fee may apply.
Claims for damage, shortages, or deterioration of materials must be submitted in writing within 7 days of receipt. B&G Sheds will not accept liability for damage or loss of materials sustained by carriers other than our own transport.
It is the client’s responsibility to cover materials to protect them from rain or moisture between delivery and construction. The supplier is not liable for any deterioration due to lack of protection.
The client is responsible for the safety and security of all materials once delivered to the site and should obtain insurance against theft or damage.
