The client shall be responsible for the safety and security of all materials once delivered to the site. The packs of materials are usually shrink wrapped, steel banded and very heavy and are therefore unlikely to be stolen. The driver will help you store any lose items in a safe area. However, if you are still concerned, you should consider taking out insurance against theft or damage.
If the client is late in making any payment, B&G Sheds may elect to charge interest at the rate of 13% per annum calculated daily until the payment is made. Property in the form of goods, materials and services shall only pass to the Customer upon payment of all outstanding amounts.
All of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (10%) when applicable. GST is shown on every invoice. Items not attracting GST are shown separately. Our invoices all comply with current Australian Tax law.
Our product prices are updated whenever our suppliers notify us of a price change. Quotations are fixed for 30 days from the date of quotation. Once orders are placed, the price will hold for 60 days, after which the price may change. We reserve the right to amend the Quotation or Contract amount to take into account any increase in the standard price list current at the time of delivery of the materials.
Please choose carefully. We do not give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. All of our products are specifically manufactured to match you design, configuration and colour selection. These products cannot be returned to stock for resale.
If the Customer cancels the Contract for any reason, a cancellation fee of $300 will be charged plus they agree to pay for any materials and services that have purchased to date.

The materials used in B&G Sheds buildings have warranties that flow through from their suppliers. For our customer's peace of mind, all buildings use genuine Australian made products from Bluescope Steel and roller doors are from B&D Doors.
Our suppliers all have different warranties that vary from 1 yr to 25yrs, but most of the materials are Purlins and Colorbond Roofing materials which come from Lysaght / Bluescope. In general:
All buildings supplied by B&G Sheds are engineer designed and come with Plans and a Compliance Certificate which warrants the design for 6.5 yrs. That warranty is backed by the engineer's professional indemnity insurance.
Our installation crews warranty their work for a period of 12 months after installation. Any warranty claims should be reported directly to B&G Sheds.
Note : Warranty terms and conditions apply. Warranties are not available for all products and applications. The duration and terms and conditions of available warranties vary according to product use and application.
This warranty is only applicable to a professionally designed and constructed enclosed light industrial structure, erected on a concrete slab footing, utilising COLORBOND steel roofing with base metal thickness of 0.42 or greater and walling with base metal thickness of 0.35mm or greater and covering an area of not less than 36 sqm.
Should perforation by natural weathering occur less than the warranted period, BlueScope Steel's liability shall be limited exclusively to the pro-rata share of the product replacement of the affect portion as follows:
Replacement product will be supplied at a discount, which bears the same ratio to the then current price as that part of the warranty period not achieved bears to the full warranty period.
BlueScope Steel shall only be liable for:
Whichever is the lowest.
BlueScope Steel shall not be liable for:
BlueScope Steel extends this warranty solely to the manufacturer.
BlueScope Steel reserves the right to inspect a building prior to issuing of the warranty.
This warranty is given in lieu of all other considerations or warranties expressed or implied except to the extent that any statute applicable to this contract prevents the exclusion restrictions or modification of such conditions or warranties.
Please visit the BlueScope Steel website to review all terms and conditions of this warranty.

It's important you have peace of mind when you purchase a Garage or Shed, that's why we use B&D doors. They are the best garage door company in the business, and all of their doors come with a warranty. B&D warrants that it will, at its option, either repair or replace (in a manner B&D considers reasonable e.g. touch up of surface coatings) any proven defects:
Once a quote request is made, we aim to respond:
Once a quotation has been accepted, a Summary of Works is prepared. That document will detail:
The contract will either be given to the customer in person or sent by email. If sent by email, it will be accompanied by instructions asking for it to be signed and returned with the deposit.
The permit application process can be a long drawn our affair depending on the number and type of permits required. The expected time frame for some of the more common permit applications is as follows:
Other requirements include:
During the permit process, we:
Once the permit is complete, we:
Once the building permit is approved, a Concreters Brief is prepared and sent to the concreter. He will call you and organize an onsite inspection at which time he will check a number of things:
Once the concreters visit is complete, you should have all unknowns in your project agreed upon and locked down. At the end of the visit, he will consider all of your requirements and agree with you on a time for preparation and pouring of the slab.
The concreter will organize the Pre Slab Inspection required by the Building Surveyor. He will also cut the expansion joints within 48 hrs of the pour.
You will be given his contact details, so that you may contact him at any time if required.
An email will be sent to the email address you have supplied on your order or you will be contacted by phone if you don't have email. The email will detail the proposed day of delivery. To confirm a more exact time of delivery you should contact the office. Generally AM or PM time slots are available. Your Tax Invoice detailing any payments required prior to pickup will be attached to that email. If no email, it will be posted to you.
Once the building permit is approved, a Builders Brief is prepared and sent to the proposed building contractor. He will call you after the concrete has been laid and the delivery has occurred to arrange access. It is important to meet the building contractor at the start of his first day. At that time he will check the project details with you and ensure that the position doors, windows , skylights and downpipes is still as per the contract. He will check the site for safety hazards and ask if you have any special instructions.
If the site is a Commercial site, he will provide Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) documents and attend induction meetings as required. Costs for this should already be included in your installation agreement. It will be charged for separately if not already discussed.
Once you have completed the connection of your downpipes to the storm water (legal point of discharge), you must call the building surveyor and request a final inspection. The phone contact details arte on your building permit. Should you have any difficulty, please call our office and we will organize it for you. Once the final inspection has been completed you will receive a Certificate of Final Inspection.
At that point your project is complete.
